JOB DESCRIPTION – Data Warehouse developer
Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience having worked in Application Development / Production, Support & Maintenance in Oracle Data warehouse environment.
Technical Skills:
Hands on and proven technical skills in the following:
a) Very good experience in Oracle Stored procedures, packages, Triggers and ETL Scripts
b) Experience in designing / maintaining Oracle Data Warehouse.
c) Good knowledge of Unix Shell Scripts
d) Good experience and in-depth understanding of data warehousing principles, star schema and
Concepts.
e) Data modeling experience is advantageous.
Pre-requisites:
• Exposure to complete life cycle of software development
• Conversant with QMS and related documentation under ISO 9001/CMM quality framework
• Should have good Analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
Business Domain: Familiarity with Supply chain management is an advantage.

JOB DESCRIPTION – Manager & Associate Manager – Software Development
Manager – Software Development
Manages software development staff responsible for analyzing, designing and developing software enhancements and new products. Manages software defection correction activities. Prioritizes, schedules, allocates resources in coordination with project managers for software development projects. Reviews functional requirements, designs, unit testing and Project/product related documentation. Responsible for the quality of the software produced and of associated documents. Works with software testers, technical writers, and product managers to assure successful and timely completion of development projects and software corrections. Coaches staff and manages staff development. Writes, reviews and enforces departmental procedures.
Education & Experience:
BS/MS in Computer Science, manager Information Systems or equivalent.
Min. 5 years of managerial, project management and team building experience.
Total exp 13y to 17 years on Microsoft Technology Healthcare experience preferred.
Experience with software development life cycle, development methodologies, Microsoft application development technologies, and application server architectures.
Associate Manager:
- Complete operational and Technical Responsibilities of the project(s)
- Project planning, manpower planning including estimation.
- Ability to mentor module leads / developers on coding / design; troubleshoot if required
- Hands on development if needed
- Backup for the Tech Lead
- Quality delivery on time
- Metrics collection and reporting
- Flexible to travel
Education:
- B.Tech / MCA with 9+yrs experience
- Having lead small projects for atleast 2 years successfully
- Certification and Java / J2EE is desirable
- Good communication and interaction skills
- Excellent Analytical skills is a must
- Proven experience working in a distributed team development |
